Play For Keeps

In the “Play For Keeps" program, children from the age of 8, young people and adults learn to play a keyboard instrument.

The main goal of the course is:

Music in the band,

Getting to know the stylistically diverse repertoire,

Developing creative abilities such as harmonizing, arranging and improvising.

Children from 8 years of age, adolescents and adults

“Play For Keeps" classes in our school are conducted by Bartłomiej Karwański, Emma Kluczyńska, Jakub Koza and Sylwia Makowska.

Bartłomiej Karwański

Instruments: drums, classical guitar, keyboards

He was educated in the Yamaha Music School system from the age of 4.

A graduate of the Music Academy in Poznań with the specialism of choral conducting.

In the years 2012-2019 he was the conductor of Schola Lednicka, while he also conducted the Choir and Orchestra during the World Youth Days in Krakow.

In his free time, he likes to ride his bike and play squash and volleyball.

He adores his family, with whom he loves to spend his free time.

Emma Kluczyńska

Emmanuela Kluczyńska is a versatile artist – composer, arranger, pianist and conductor. She holds a Master’s degree in composition and arrangement, educated among others under the supervision of Krzesimir Dębski. Her name has been associated for years with ambitious musical projects that combine classics with modern sound.

Under the Emma Experience brand, she creates unique musical worlds – from chamber ensembles to full-size orchestras. In the spring of 2025, the Emma Experience Orkiestra concert tour debuted with works by Zbigniew Wodecki, and Emma Experience Band has been giving regular concerts in Poznań’s Wilson Park since 2022, constituting the musical heart of the summer Muzykalia. Her portfolio also includes Emma Experience Big Band, which is a nod to jazz.

The artist collaborated with Poznańska Piętnastka, and in 2018, the album Big Club Band with her participation was released. Emmanuela also took part in preparing and conducting anniversary concerts of such figures as Zbigniew Górny, Aleksander Kaliszewski and Krzesimir Dębski.

Since 2021, she has been collaborating with Pro Sinfonika – Poznań Philharmonic, presenting her own compositions and arrangements and performing as a conductor during concerts under the Emma Experience banner. Her work has been appreciated with prestigious scholarships – in 2021, she received the Młoda Polska scholarship and the ZAiKS creative scholarship. She also participated in workshops led by Adam Sztaba, developing her skills under the watchful eye of some of the best.

Emmanuela Kluczyńska not only composes and conducts – she creates emotional musical stories that connect generations and styles, creating a real experience – Emma Experience.

Jakub Koza

Keyboard instruments.

Conductor, keyboard player, arranger. In 2022, he graduated with honors from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music. I.J. Paderewski in Poznań, majoring in choral conducting.

On a daily basis, he also fulfills himself as a culture manager and teacher. Associated as a chorister with the Paderewski Chamber Choir.

Since 2019, the second conductor – assistant in the JORDAN Choir and Orchestra. He conducts numerous workshops for choirs, schools and theater groups. Producer of cultural events, social activist.

Sylwia Makowska

She graduated with honors from the Academy of Music. I.J. Paderewski in Poznań in the field of music education and the Secondary State Secondary Music School in Częstochowa in the clarinet class.

She enjoys making music together. Already in high school, she had the opportunity to play in a sextet, with which she won numerous awards at national and international competitions and festivals, as well as in the school symphony orchestra, with which she performed, among others. on the stage of the National Philharmonic.

During her studies, she was associated with the Paderewski Chamber Choir, with which she won the grand prix and gold diploma in the 11th International Choir Competition and Festival in Toruń and took part in the 53rd Tolosako Abesbatza Lehiaketa (Spain) – one of the most prestigious choir competitions – competing with the best choirs in the world.

She conducts numerous workshops for children and students, as well as participates in courses and trainings.
Her greatest satisfaction is introducing the youngest into the multicolored spaces of music and watching their joy.
