Trumpet lessons
Instrumental program – the trumpet is a program for people from 10 years of age.
The main goal of the course is:
Learning basic playing techniques,
The joy of playing in a group,
Improvising from the very beginning,
Preparation for playing in a band.

Classes on how to play the trumpet at our school are led by Jakub Jóźwiak.
The program, inspired by the Yamaha educational method, is not part of the Yamaha Music Education System certification program.
Jakub Jóźwiak
Jakub Jóźwiak was born on July 17, 1998 in Koło. In 2008, he enrolled at the 1st degree State Music School. Karol Szymanowski in Koło in the trumpet class of Krzysztof Lityński. Then he began studying at the 1st and 2nd degree State Music School of Ignacy Jan Paderewski in Konin, majoring in Jazz and Popular Music.
He graduated with honors from his bachelor’s studies in the field of Instrumental Trumpet in the class of prof. dr hab. Roman Gryń and Dr. Damian Kurek at the Academy of Music. Ignacy Jan Paderewski in Poznań. In the previous year, he began studying at the same university in the field of Instrumental Studies in the trumpet class of prof. dr hab. Roman Gryń and his assistant Damian Kurek.
He perfected his skills during courses conducted by such masters as: Ronald Romm, Wolfgang Bauer, Gábor Boldoczki, Marcus Wursch, Marco Pierobon, Jan Broda, and Eric Aubier.
The artist is a laureate of many national and international competitions, incl. 3rd prize at the International Brass Instrument Interpretation Competition in Brno (2011), 3rd prize at the CEA National Auditions in Warsaw (2011), 1st prize at the Poznań Brass Instrument Competition (2011), 3rd prize at the 8th Etiuda International Brass Instrument Festival in Szczecin (2011), 2nd prize in the 18th Silesian Competition “Wind Instruments" in Dąbrowa Górnicza (2011), 2nd prize in the National Competition for Brass Instruments in Opole (2012), Honorable Mention at the 21st Poznań Brass Instrument Competition in Poznań (2013), 3rd 1st prize in the International Music Competition Opus (2020), 3rd prize at the 11th National Trumpet Festival in Kalisz (2020) and 1st prize in King’s Peak Music Competition 2020, 3rd prize at the International Music Competition OPUS 2021 and 1st prize at the International Music Competition “Astana Stars" in Kazakhstan.
In addition to achievements in the field of classical music, he is a laureate of jazz and popular music competitions, incl. 2nd prize in the Macroregional Jazz Improvisation Competition in Konin 2015, 1st prize in the Macroregional Jazz Improvisation Competition in Konin 2016 and a distinction in the Macroregional Jazz Improvisation Competition in Konin 2018.
So far, he has had the opportunity to work with the following bands: Dizzy Boys Brass Band, Punto Latino, Happy Jazz Band, outstanding jazz musicians such as Wojciech Myrczek, Zbigniew Namysłowski, Krzesimir Dębski, Lora Szafran and orchestras: Poznań Philharmonic, Szczecin Philharmonic, Pomeranian Philharmonic, Gorzowska Philharmonic , The National Brass Band and the Collegium F.
